Abstract
Buku ini membicarakan tentang konsep dasar psikologi faal, struktur dan fungsi saraf, proses koordinasi dan pengendalian saraf, fungsi lima indera manusia dan kelenjar. Secara rinci lima indera manusia itu terdari fungsi indera penglihatan, fungsi indera pendengaran, fungsi indera penciuman, fungsi indera pengecap, fungsi indera peraba dan dilengkapi dengan pembahasan tentang hubungan antara proses penginderaan dan persepsi. Selain itu, juga dibahas beberapa hormon yang dihasilkan oleh beberapa kelenjar yang terdiri dari lima bab, yaitu: kelenjar tiroid, kelenjar paratiroid, kelenjar pancreas, kelenjar adrenal dan kelenjar hipofisis. Pada bab terakhir, ditulis secara khusus dan detail tentang respon tubuh terhadap stress.
