Abstract

This research aimed to gain information about speaking Indonesian skill in children aged 5-6 years which develop by telling method by pictorial television media. The method of this research used are "Weak Experimental" with design OneShot-Case-Study. The subject of this research total 27 children aged 5-6 years from one of the kindergarten in Gresik. Collecting data was done by observation and documentation. The result of collecting data then analyzed descriptively and quantitatively by determining percentage from each development of speaking Indonesian skill indicator children. The result of this research, as a whole the Speaking Indonesian skill in children aged 5-6 years has been improve in the high rate (85%) after the use of telling method with pictorial television media.
