Abstract

The conclusion from this research is that generally interpretation of al Maraghi and Shihab sold more on the meaning of Qadla. The similarity between the both is in several things. Firstly, that the predestination is a decision of Allah with His desire. Secondly, that the coming of bad predestination because of His creature him self. 11tirdly, that Allah gives opportunity to His slaves to change their predestination. Fourthly, to make effort is the way to change the predestination. While difference among the both is in the interpretation of al-Maraghi about meaning of predestination in Tafsir a/-Maraghi that sold more on the opinion of al-Asy'ari and al-Maturidi, that the predestination is decision which' s determined by God with His desire.
