Abstract

With all the above analysis will be found how the view of Sayyid Qutb of the ahl al kitab and also how his backgrotuid with such interpraation. Can be known as follows: Ahl al kitab by him are any people who have received tbe Book of God (Allah swt), then deviate from the truth of the book that's called the ahl al kitab, did not nde out those who deviate from Islam also al Quran then they including ahl al kitab. The background for his views very hard this in hocsp... of Sayyid Qutb during bis lifetime had wastled in the mthless polities of tlx name of religion, when he was in America, the Ameacan peopie (Jews) feasted upon the dcath of hasan al banna, the leader of al ikhwan al Muslimin at that time, then when he was in prison, he was in torment in such a way by fellow Islatnic people, giving rise to a shift in thinking he is so much hardcr because of tbe pressure and torture.
