Abstract

Sadar River is located in Mojokerto Regency and has a river length of 23 km. Land use around the river is residential, industrial and rice fields or plantations. According to (Priatna et al., 2016), the Brantas river has Pb levels ranging from 0.024 ppm - 0.049 ppm. It is suspected that the Sadar River also has heavy metal levels close to that of the Brantas River, so it is necessary to measure the water quality status. The purpose of this study is to determine the condition of the water quality in the Sadar River based on Government Regulation no. 22 of 2021 Appendix VI concerning the Implementation of Environmental Protection and Management using the CCME-WQI Method and the Storet Method. Sampling points are divided into three locations using time series data. Sampling was taken twice with a span of time in the morning and afternoon. The parameters tested were pH, temperature, DO, COD, BOD, TSS, TDS, Pb and total coliform. From this study, there were 4 out of 9 parameters that exceeded the quality standards set by PP No. 22 of 2021. These parameters are pH, temperature, BOD, TSS. The results of determining the status of water quality using the CCME-WQI method and the Storet method show different results. Determination of water quality status using the CCME-WQI method obtained a value of 81.22 and indicated that the Sadar River was classified in the "good" category. This shows that the method that has a high sensitivity value in this study is the Storet Method
