Abstract
Epistemologically, al-Ghazali had always provided his testimony to every knowledge he had learned from a variety of disciplines and did not forget to give his judgment its validity. His elicitations give him an impression of a man with deep knowledge and had mastered various sciences so that his judgement is scientifically sufficient to be applied on various empirical, rational, and spiritual sciences. Basically, al-Ghazali approved the validity of various sciences based on their levels. However, he had compared sciences based on their positions, then he emphasized the validity on his spiritual experiences. This kind of experiences are so evident and strong that it is difficult to be refuted as a mere illusion. Hence, al-Ghazali built his very logical arguments based on the truth of his direct and performative experiences without the mediation of a mental representation from any language or symbolism.
