Abstract

In the last century, science and technology have become one of the driving forces of modern human life, starting from shopping, vacations, education, even worship, even though they are facilitated by science and technology. Then the second is Religion, Religion teaches humans a spiritual practice, teaches morals, and psychology or psychology for its adherents. However, not a few of the humans whose entire lives are filled with science and technology think that religion is only needed for humans who fail at the level of rationality. These differences are due to the assumption that religion and science are two conflicting truths. Differences are assumed because in terms of objects, methods, and sources of knowledge between religion and science are different, even these assumptions extend to the allegation that the organizers and drivers of the development of the two are institutionally different. Therefore scientific integration is considered very important to be carried out in this modern era so that it does not become a dichotomy of truth and blaming each other. One of the PTKI carrying out the scientific integration agenda is the Islamic University of Lamongan through student boarding schools. The purpose of this study was to find out how the practice of scientific integration at the Unisla Student Islamic Boarding School (Ponpesma) is. This research is a type of qualitative research with a phenomenological approach to find out how scientific integration practices in Unisla student boarding schools. While the data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the practice of scientific integration in Unisla student boarding schools includes: 1) Studying all disciplines. 2) Develop a curriculum that is epistemologically representative of science. 3) Living in Islamic boarding schools is the law of modern times. 4) Riyadhoh with mujahadah
