Abstract
Al Qur’an Hadits is one of the important subjects in Islamic Religious Education curriculum as an effort to form the character of students. As an important lesson, the learning process of Al Qur’an Hadits must run well, and please one of them with the selection of appropriate teaching materials and in accordance with the curriculum. This study aims to develop teaching materials through a scientific approach that is equipped with authentic assessment on the subjects of Al Qur’an Hadits, and to determine the effectiveness of the development of these teaching materials. Along with the demands of curriculum that uses Scientific approach the teacher is expected to create and use the teaching materials in accordance with the needs and characteristics of students. This study aims to develop teaching materials through a scientific approach equipped with authentic research on the subjects of al Qur’an Hadith, and to determine the effectiveness of the development of these teaching materials. The type of research used is development research with ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model with stages, namely (1) Analysis includes analyzing curriculum, student characteristics and needs (2) Design includes planning and drafting (design) of teaching materials (3) Development materials through scientific approach and expert validation of teaching materials. (4) Implementation that is experimental material test to know the level of eligibility of student response and (5) Evaluation that is evaluate the implementation of the use of teaching materials. The result of research of development of teaching materials through scientific approach of Qur’an Hadith meet the criterion worthy with the percentage of test result by material experts 93% linguists 90% media experts 92% and field trial results 90%. Student learning outcomes on average pre-test score is 65 and post-test value is 81,9. In manual t-test with significance level 0,05 obtained result t-count > t-table that is 10,92 > 2,06 which means Ho rejected and Ha accepted, so there are significant difference to the developed teaching materials. From the results obtained showed that the product developed is very effective in teaching and learning process students of class VII MTs Negeri Krian Sidoarjo. Thus, teaching materials through a scientific approach equipped with authentic assessment is worthy of use in learning the Qur’an Hadith.
