Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the communication management of Suara Hidayatullah Magazine as Islamic Media in the development of da'wah. This type of research used in this study is to use qualitative research with a managerial approach. The subject in this study was the editor of Suara Hidayatullah Magazine. Data analysis was performed by interactive data analysis by Miles and Huberman which consisted of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing then verified. The results showed that Suara Hidayatullah Magazine's communication management strategy was to have a strategy by strengthening sales agents, giving rewards to agents, management strategies in terms of maintaining the interest of readers, this editor also sharpened the religious insights presented in each rubric. Another strategy that appears to be done by distributing Suara Hidayatullah Magazine for free in a certain amount. Suara Hidayatullah Magazine as an Islamic media in the development of da'wah applies three aspects to its management. First, from the managerial aspect where the leader has a big control in all the managerial activities of Hidayatullah Magazine. Control in this regard is affirmed in terms of top management leadership, where employees or subordinates in the Hidayatullah Magazine office will comply with all directions and input from the leadership. The leadership has a great command in all the managerial activities of Hidayatullah Magazine. Second, from the aspect of content in which all content or rubrics published in Suara Hidayatullah Magazine are guided by the Qur'an and Hadith in strict language. Third, from the aspect of human resources in which all employees who work in Suara Hidayatullah Magazine are recruited through regeneration. This aims to facilitate the Suara Hidayatullah Magazine in carrying out the vision and mission of Islamic da'wah in accordance with the teachings of the Qur'an and hadiths. Based on these three aspects, Suara Hidayatullah Magazine intends to maintain its missionary mission through printed media, namely the magazine, by inviting readers or the public of Suara Hidayatullah Magazine to follow the propaganda study and teachings in accordance with the contents in Hidayatullah Magazine.
