Abstract
This study aims to examine the correlation between the e-participation index with the index of public confidence in politicians within the world in 2018. This study uses a quantitative-explanatory method with a large-n comparison type, because it compares 135 countries in the world. Data collection techniques using secondary data from two agencies, namely the United Nations Department of Economics and Social Affairs and The World Economic Forum. Data analysis using statistical test tools with Pearson product moment correlation formula. The results of this study conclude there is a weak uphill linear positive relationship between the e-participation index and the public trust in politician index within the world in 2018 with a correlation coefficient of 0,341 and a determinationcoefficient of 0,116 which means that e-participation contributes to public trust in politicians by 11,6%.
