Abstract

This study compares the protagonists of The Beginning After The End web novel by TurtleMe and Jobless Reincarnation web novel by Rifujin no Magonote. This study has one research problem: how the protagonist of The Beginning After The End Novel reflects towards the protagonist of Jobless Reincarnation Novel.This study used a descriptive qualitative method. The researcher used the comparative literature theory in finding and analyzing the similarities between the protagonists from both titles. This study shows several similarities between the protagonists, such as their condition when reincarnated as a baby, their family’s conditions, combat talent, childhood friend, and even their journey. Those similarities appeared because Jobless Reincarnation becomes the main inspiration in the creation of The Beginning After The End.
