All variants of tradition and culture were displayed by the dimensional Madura society of self-esteem. But the Madura's self-esteem shows more individuality than the collective, emphasizing the aspects of internal competition "into" (the excitement of one individual against another individual). Madura's self-esteem has not yet become a collective spirit to fight a common threat. There was a shift in the meaning of self-esteem marked by the presence of traditional (old) self-esteem symbols, replaced by new self-esteem symbols as a result of changing times. Moreover, the change in self-esteem based on a competition between actors to be dominated by one actor over another.
