Abstract
Think Talk Write Learning Model in Improving Students' Learning Motivation in Islamic Religion and Character Education Subjects at SMA Negeri 3 Sidoarjo. Thesis, Islamic Religious Education, Undergraduate Program at UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. Supervisor: Prof. Dr. H. Ali Mas'ud, M.Ag, M.Pd.I, Dr. Muhammad Fahmi M. Hum, M. Pd. This study aims to explain: 1) The implementation of the think talk write learning model in increasing students' learning motivation in Islamic religious education subjects and character at SMAN 3 Sidoarjo, 2) The constraint factors of the implementation of the think talk write learning model in increasing participants' learning motivation students in the subjects of Islamic religious education and character at SMAN 3 Sidoarjo, 3) The supporting factors of the implementation of the think talk write learning model in increasing students' learning motivation in the subjects of Islamic religious education and manners at SMAN 3 Sidoarjo. This research is a type of field research, the approach in this study is descriptive qualitative, with the methods of collecting interview data, observation, and documentation, the data that has been obtained are then analyzed using data condensation techniques, data presentation, and conclusions, the authors use several informants covering students, educators, waka at SMA N 3 Sidoarjo in addition to using media originating from the school's official website and several other supporting sources. The results of the study show that: 1) The implementation of the think talk write learning model in increasing students' learning motivation in Islamic religious education and character education at SMAN 3 Sidoarjo, begins with the provision of reading materials, then conducts discussions by asking questions regarding the topic of learning. Less known, these activities can be carried out between students and educators or form groups and continue with presentations, so that students can hone their thinking, speaking and writing skills so that they are better, structured, directed and skilled in learning. 2) The constraint factor of implementing the think talk write learning model in increasing students' learning motivation comes from several factors, in terms of the learning method factor, namely students need time to be able to adapt, especially for new students, so it is not uncommon to make the teaching and learning process less effective considering PAI and BP subjects have only a short duration, fast delivery of material makes students less focused when teaching and learning takes place, suggestions and infrastructure that sometimes cannot be used due to lack of maintenance, as well as reciprocal relationships between educators and students 3) Supporting factors of implementation think talk write learning model in increasing students' learning motivation, namely the supportive learning method factor coupled with a new curriculum that is very relevant to the learning model used, in delivering material students are more likely to learn to have creative thinking itis develops and is directed, suggestions and infrastructure are supported and provided with adequate facilities by SMA N 3 Sidoarjo, as well as reciprocal relationships between educators and students.
