Abstract
Learning through Word Wall as an online platform of teaching media shows an extremely potential medium that is unaffected by certain circumstances i.e pandemic outbreak. This study aimed to search in depth about the implementation of Word Wall in SGS, the teachers’ perspective on Word Wall as a suitable online platform, and the problems in the implementation of Word Wall in SGS. The subjects were three national plus teachers elementary school students in Surabaya Grammar School. Data were taken from interviews and documentation which were then analyzed by the theory of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The results showed the process of implementing Word Wall in detail such as the four preparation steps and two during lesson plan steps. Word Wall was satisfactory as the students enjoyed the material, teachers said that because learning through Word Wall is as the same as playing. The technical problems are slow internet connection, the need of adaptation for new users, and unlimited features yet purchase packages. The pedagogical problems are the difficulty of understanding questions by students and the difficulty of keeping fair and just while answering on Word Wall.
