Abstract
This research is motivated educational curriculum problems that have been used have not been able to produce character / behavior to students about how to treat or care for the environment that is as it should be the other problem is the declining quality of the environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the concept of Environmental Education in the Perspective of Islam.
This research is library research, sources of data used are taken from library books and continued to collect, analyze, and make interpretation of the data accumulated research obtained. This study is a descriptive analysis, the decomposition of regular whole concept that has to do with the discussion. Then the data were collected and prepared as they should proceed with the process of analyzing the data. Data collection methods that researchers use the method of documentation.
The results in this study is the pleasure of Allah has bestowed terrifying to humans, earth expanse of the universe and its contents were all given so that people are able and willing to manage the power it has. In Islam too has given an offer to the concept of nurturing, conscious and caring environment. With the mental man will always innovating and always holds the next step to have the courage to protect the environment. Nature of the existing provisions on human beings from birth, should the need for the development potential of existing nature, namely the presence of education, coaching process to develop the potential of the existing nature. In the world of education, there are generally three educational paths exist, the path that education is the school formal education, non- formal and in -formal.
