Abstract

The thesis entitled "Analysis of Livelihood Dynamics of the Nginden Jangkungan Village Community in Surabaya in Improving Economic Welfare through the Herbal Village Program" is the result of qualitative and quantitative research which aims to answer the formulation of the problem in the research, namely how is the livelihood dynamic of the Nginden Jangkungan Village community in increasing economic welfare through the Herbal Village Program and how the community's economic development is after community empowerment through the Herbal Village Program. The methods used in this research are qualitative and quantitative. Data collection was obtained from primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained from observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. While secondary data obtained from journals, books, and articles. Data analysis used in interviews is coding, while for data analysis questionnaires using coding, Pearson's correlation validity test, and reliability testing. The results of the study revealed that the livelihood dynamics that occurred in the Nginden Herbal Village were running quite well. This has been proven by increasing the people's economy through the sale of herbal plants, food and herbal drinks. Thus the economic welfare of citizens also increased.
