Abstract

Secara historis NU memiliki kontribusi yang sangat besar dalam perjalanan sejarah bangsa Indonesia. Jika dirunut maka akan didapati bagaimana peran NU dalam kehidupan bernegara bangsa tersebut, meskipun secara akademis sering menjadikan NU dianggap sebagai organisasi yang akomodatif, fragmatis dan bahkan oportunis.
