Abstract

This research aims to analyze and compare two Arabic language textbooks for grade X, namely the Arabic language textbook for grade X and the book " Ayo Fasih berbahasa Arab." The method employed in this research is a qualitative method with data collection techniques through documentation. The focus of this research is to evaluate the feasibility of both books based on the criteria set by Rusydi Ahmad Thu'aimah, including book printing quality, content, cultural aspects, questions, evaluations, and the presence of companion books.The analysis results indicate that both the Arabic language textbook for grade X and the book "Ayo Fasih berbahasa Arab" have met the established criteria. Overall, the printing quality, cultural aspects presented, questions, and evaluations are in line with the expected standards. In terms of content, it was found that " Ayo Fasih berbahasa Arab " excels over the Arabic language textbook for grade X. However, it was identified that neither of them is equipped with companion books.This research contributes to a deeper understanding of the quality of Arabic language textbooks for grade X and " Ayo Fasih berbahasa Arab." Despite their advantages, the lack of companion books is a concern for curriculum developers and textbook publishers. Further recommendations can be directed towards the development of companion books to enhance the learning process for both students and Arabic language educators.
