Abstract
This research aims to illustrate the role of Kevindra Prianto Soemantri in promoting Indonesian culinary culture through the Netflix streaming media "Street Food: Asia" Yogyakarta Episode. Indonesian culinary culture is still not widely known by the public. Kevindra uses his celebrity status to promote Indonesian culinary culture through streaming media in the Netflix series. The research method used is content analysis, by collecting data from the Street Food series: Yogyakarta Episode and interviews with resource persons. The data were analyzed qualitatively to address the research focus. The results of the study show that Kevindra leverages his celebrity status to promote Indonesian culinary culture by informing, persuading, and reminding the audience about Indonesian culinary culture. The series is distributed via the internet to be widely known by the public.
