Abstract

Indonesia is not Islamic State, but also not secular state. Indonesian people always state that they are own private ideology; in term Pancasila state. Therefore, the concept of Islamic education ought to be manifested with Pancasila ideology, not Islamic or Secular Education. But, Pancasila itself cannot be implemented well until now. Thispaper will try to trace, conclude, and analyze the main format of Islamic education in Ideological state such as Pakistan and Iran, and also in secular State seem like in United State and United Kingdom trough anthropological and technological approach.Iran and Pakistan are represented as example of state which is Islamic education became the dominant rule of their society. Almost all of their people educated with Islamic education system. Besides that, in the western country, make a secular system for their education based on their ideology as secular state. Anthropologically, both state, Islamic and Western State had same aims and ideology in their country; Islam in Iran and Secularism in United State. Like mention above, the approach or methodology of this paper research is anthropological and technological method. Study of anthropology will be used in historical concept in both state. At the same time, technological approach will explain the practice or future concept for Islamic Education in Indonesia. In the end, this paper also will give an ideal concept and example for Islamic Education in Indonesia based on its Pancasila ideology. Pancasila extent above Islam and Secular concept. Pancasila become a technological education concept for Islamic education. So, in the future, Islamic education in Indonesia does not tend to western concept or Islamic concept, but it tends to the philosophy of Pancasila.
