Abstract

Classroom can be viewed from two different perspectives: as acommunicative event and as pedagogical endeavor. All communicative behaviors between interlocutors, i.e. teacher and learners, are intendes to serve pedagogical purpuses. Theacher orders, advice, explanations, information, instructions to do task, questions and learners' responses in terms of conducting activities or verbal production of utterances should, ideally, be consistent with the lesson objectives and aimed at maximizing the achievemnet of goals.
