Abstract

The study aims to investigate the linguistic style of a state figure in the realm of bilateral politics between nations, focusing on their use of communication strategies and language to establish cooperative relationships through negotiation.By analyze the types of expressive acts used frequently that prove the role of important function during discussion in order to get a good impact or reception to interlocutors in various discussions on the development of shared prosperity. In addition, to assesting the perception about figure of countries used expressive acts in bilateral session video. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach by connecting the elements of underlying emotions, attitudes, and viewpoints expressed by both groups toward one another. The data collection was conducted for the first time, including transcription, video analysis, and selection of conversations between both country figures in the video Sekretaris Presiden YouTube videos as the data sources on bilateral meeting relationships across the country category. The second is the strategy to support the result data progress by finding the expressive acts element points in the several transcripts that are available. The third is collected data statements/words by grouping to the Qualitative data tools (Atlas.Ti & QDA MINER), applying video statements or by gathering qualitative data word groups,and collecting relevant points are selected in utterances that speak out by figures in the videos and maintained the frequency that come out to the utterances. This study demonstrates that the nature of expressive acts is widely utilized in sentiment analysis, including sentiment classification, feature extraction(speech,context, textual), and based on the study result grouping 11 variety character categories such as (e.g., Thanking, congratulating, greeting, Hoping, Reassurances, Praising, Optimism, Gratitude, Greetings, Welcoming, Pride). While also considering the impact of contextual perspectives. And connected to the political realities and international relationships, as well as the distinct characteristics of citizens in a variety of country-level perspectives. The result Prabowo Subianto as the most frequently prove that expressive acts strongly influence conversations for the sake of cooperation, with the general use of Thanking for about 25 Times utterances totally in every videos. It becomes easiest to requested the cooperation and connections, eventually, get some of good feedback during the discussion.
