Abstract

This research aims to describe how cultural diplomacy is carried out by Indonesia through the Rhapsody of the Archipelago cultural festival. Researchers used a qualitative approach with descriptive research type and used data obtained from interviews, literature studies and internet-based searches. The results of this research describe the cultural diplomacy carried out by Indonesia through the Rhapsody of the Archipelago cultural festival, looking at the elements of the concept of cultural diplomacy, including a peaceful situation with Indonesia becoming the Presidency of the G20 Summit, using the form of exhibitions and conferences, with the aim of recognizing Indonesian culture and friendship between Indonesia. with invited guests from various countries, and cultural diplomacy facilities carried out using the arts by displaying dance and music as well as tourism facilities held at TMII..
