Abstract

In this thesis, researcher analyses James Dashner's The Scorch Trials. This study focuses on analyzing Thomas’ characterization and Thomas relationship with his companions. The aims of this thesis are to describe Thomas’ characterization, to describe Thomas relationship with his companions, This thesis uses new criticism theory to analyze Thomas’ character and Thomas relationship with his companions is clarified by categories of friendship. As the conclusion of this thesis Thomas is a good friend because the character of Thomas is loving, care and loyal.
