Abstract

Praying for someone who had died had been taught by Muhammad,but today there are some people who say that the act of praying for people who have just died in vain. Therefore, in this study we will try to give an understanding of the receipt of reward shodaqoh for mothers who have passed away with researching the hadith narrated by Abu Daud that will be presented in the next chapter.
This thesis is the result of the research literature to understand the issue of how the quality of sanad, Matan and tradition argument about shodaqoh reward for the mother who has died in Sunan Abu Dawud index number 2882. This type of research is research Library. Thus, data collection is obtained by tracing the book Sunan Abu Dawud, also assisted with other standard works, which is then analyzed using methods tahrij, sanad and Matan criticism.
This study explains that the quality of the hadith about shodaqoh reward for the mother who had died in Sunan Abu Dawud 2882 index numbers with lines Ahmad ibn Mani, RuwahUbadah son, Zakaria bin ishaq, Amribn Dinar, Ikrima, Ibn Abbas who directly received from the Prophet SAW, has the status of authentic lidzatihi. The original score sourced from all muttasil late, fairness and intelligence of all the narrator in the sanad not found any defects and awkward.While the amplifier sanad lines is Imam Bukhari Abu Dawud, from the boosters found a narrator who is a shahid and muttabi qashir which are rated byhadith critics as the tsiqah and dhabitnarrators.
While Matan hadith studies did not reveal any evidence of conflict with the Quran, authentic Hadith, historical facts and rationality. So therefore, the hadith belong to the shahihunmaqbulunma mulunbihi.
