Abstract
Agriculture is an important and strategic sector in the Indonesian economy. In addition to providing food for the population, agriculture also provides jobs for most of the rural population. Continued efforts are made to increase agricultural production. Improved agricultural technology is increasingly sophisticated. Manufacture of a wide range of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. It was as if the peasants felt they were being noticed. That is precisely what makes farmers pragmatic towards the development of agriculture programs are encouraged. On the other hand, farmers do not understand the negative impacts. Rural people who are not ready for the development of agricultural development programs. Not ready with knowledge. Not ready with the power of capital longer feel the negative impact. Unequal power relations between the elite and the weak. The community's dependence on adverse economic relations has worsened people's living conditions. There must be a movement of people who care about living conditions. People who care about the environment. A civil society with no oppression to achieve equality in social life.
