Abstract
The research is aimed at studying the phenomenon of dichotomy on Islamic education system from the point of view oflsma'il Raji al-Faruql who offered the solution to reconstruct the system to be more integral and holistic. This is a descriptive analysis library research with an implementation of the content analysis method. Al-Faruqi argued that the science today has been developed through the basis of secularism out of the Islamic frames and believes. Thus, he offered Islamisation of science as the solution to integrate Islam and modern science. This can be done by ellmitating secular substances and concepts used as the basis of modern science with Islamic concepts.
