Abstract

The US-China trade war is an undergoing issue that shook out the world’s political and economic stability, including Indonesia. This research seeks the strategy of Indonesia’s commercial diplomacy in increasing the export of textiles and textile products to The United States market amid US-China trade war in 2018-2019. The author uses a qualitative approach research design with a descriptive method while utilizing the concept of commercial diplomacy. The results indicate that there are at least three strategies in Indonesia’s commercial diplomacy, which consist of: (1) involving other government agencies and private companies, (2) actively participating in exhibitions, and (3) issuing policies that support textile industries.
