Abstract

Library as institution managing the collection of paper, printing paper, and paper records or a professional manner with a standard system, in order to meet the needs of education, research,preservation, information and recreation of the user. In Article1 No.20 of the Lawof the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 Year 2003 on National Education System states that"learning is a process of interaction of learner swi the ducators and learning resourcesin a learning environment. The policies are the basisforthe educational institutions tocreate and develop the broadest ossiblea concept of educationin accordance with the progress of time in order to competein the midst of global challenges. Information literacy is an important skill for librarian todays in global era, so that information literacy for librarian not only marked literate and able to read it only. However, the actual application is more than that, because it was supposed mastery of information literacy becomes an integral part of the librarian.Librarians should be manager of science, because every day struggling with a variety of resources. In response to this, then inevitably the librarian should be able to search the information in the library either manually or online.
