Abstract
One effort is the optimal utilization of local resources is to develop tourism with ecotourism concept. Ecotourism is developed in Situbondo Banongan Coast community involvement, economic benefit, and should pay attention to the values of the local community's wisdom filled with religious values. Thus, improving the quality of life through economic empowerment propaganda is very significant. The focus of this paper is the design of economic empowerment through the propaganda for marine ecotourism in Central Coast communities Banongan Situbondo. This research using a community service-based approach of Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA). Results of this research are there are two steps that need to be done preaching empowerment, which is an addition to the insight and understanding of the community (such as ecotourism halaqah, halaqah entrepreneurship, and halaqah practical fiqh) and da’wah action (and deversikasi cooperative optimization efforts).
