Abstract

The purpose of this research are: 1) Analyzing the development of Arabic language learning materials to improve listening and speaking skills based on socio drama with the help of artificial intelligence software for eighth grade students at MTsN 1 Gresik. 2) Analyzing the application of Arabic language learning materials to improve listening and speaking skills based on socio drama with the help of artificial intelligence software for eighth grade students at MTsN 1 Gresik. 3) Analyzing the effectiveness of the application of Arabic language learning materials to improve listening and speaking skills based on socio drama with the help of artificial intelligence software for eighth grade students at MTsN 1 Gresik. The research methodology used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Brog and Gall model. To analyse the feasibility level of the product, using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire given to experts. Pre-test and post-test tests were applied to students as an analysis of the level of effectiveness. The data instruments used are observation, interview, questionnaire and test. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis to obtain the results of observations of students' needs and learning problems; and statistical analysis used to obtain the results of questionnaires and tests aimed at experts and students. The results of this study can be seen based on the assessment of experts and the results of the Wilcoxon test. The results of the learning material expert assessment were 93.3% with a very good estimation, the language expert assessment was 91, 43% with a very good estimation and the design expert assessment was 93, 4% with a very good estimation. The results of the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test aimed at students obtained a z value of -5,088 and a calculated value of Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) .000 is smaller than the α level of 5% (0.05), namely .
