Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguji pengaruh parent attachment terhadap smartphone addiction pada remaja awal dengan self esteem sebagai variabel moderator. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis regresi sederhana dan MRA. Cara memperoleh data melalui kuisioner yang dibagikan kepada remaja awal dengan rentang usia 12 – 15 tahun dan memenuhi kriteria subjek dalam penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa parent attachment berpengaruh secara negatif terhadap smartphone addiction dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001. Self esteem berpengaruh secara negatif terhadap smartphone addiction dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001. Pada variabel moderator self esteem tidak berperan dalam memoderasi hubungan antara parent attachment dan smartphone addiction.
