Abstract
Culture of learning refers to the shared values and behaviors that occur within an organization, community, or group. A community learning culture is a type of culture that encourages students to engage in skill development, and personal growth used in the process of building students' English proficiency. This study aims to investigate how the English Massive Program fosters English vocabulary development within its community by analyzing the community culture of learning. This study used qualitative design by observing the classroom, interviewing two teachers and four students, also analyzing the documents such as pictures or archive, assignments, and report card. The findings showed that the community culture of learning in the English Massive program included forms of social interaction, support, and guidance to learners and learning modes. These three things were proven to contribute in developing students' English vocabulary. Moreover, the findings also contributed to the research that the program emphasizes on interactive learning, where students feel comfortable to speak and practice their English that involved a wider English vocabulary. The tutors provided opportunities for peer interaction, enhancing the language learning experience and boosting confidence.
