Abstract
The various possibilities offered by technology to improve the quality of foreign language learning. Toontastic is an animation digital storytelling tool that teaches kids how to organize and present story ideas through cartoons. Based on the previous research problems, the researcher compiled the following research questions: 1. How is the development of multimedia in animation language learning at SMA Khadijah Surabaya? , 2. How do you apply multimedia to learning Arabic animation at the Khadija Suryabaya Middle School? , 3. How effective is the application of multimedia to animation for learning Arabic students at Khadijah Surbaya High School? The objectives that the researchers wanted to achieve in this study were: 1. Knowledge of multimedia development in animation, language learning at Khadijah High School Surabaya, 2. Knowing how to apply multimedia to animation, teaching Arabic at SMP Hatice Surabaya, 3. Knowing how effective the application of multimedia is in Arabic animation learning at Khadijah High School Surabaya. This shows that there is significant improvement in Arabic language according to the groups. The difference prove that the use of animation in learning sessions contribute to the achievement of students in the Arabic language. This study advocate the idea that animation applications can be integrated as part of language teaching aid to positively improve student achievement, classroom learning environment and student motivation.
