Abstract

The current educational process has shifted according to the times and is undergoing rapid changes by utilizing digital technology, where the technology is used for the sake of improving and quality of education. This is in accordance with Blended Learning which combines the application of face-to-face learning in the classroom with online learning that utilizes information technology with Virtual Classroom through supporting applications. This study aims to determine the application of blended learning, analysis psychology of student learning, weaknesses and strengths in learning Arabic at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Bairuny Sambongdukuh Jombang in the 2020/2021 academic year. This study uses a qualitative method with the data used comes from interview scripts, observations and documentation. The results obtained are; the application of Arabic learning at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Bairuny has included 3 stages of blended learning, namely, Seeking of Information, Acquisition of Information which is carried out when learning online and Synthesizing of Information which is applied when face to face. Psychological analysis of students in the application of blended learning Arabic learning model at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Bairuny have not been able to reach the five aspects that have been described in the theory; that is, the application of blended learning is not sufficient for the needs of students in learning Arabic. Then there are 4 advantages and 2 disadvantages in the application of Arabic learning at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Bairuny.
