Abstract

Student Worksheets become student support material in achieving learning objectives. In the era of technological advances, students will feel interested in interactive technology-based learning materials, both websites and applications, because this affects student learning motivation. In order to be able to improve learning achievement Student Worksheets are developed based on Live Worksheets in accordance with the needs of class VII students at SMP Khadijah 2 Surabaya. The purpose of this study was to answer the formulation of the problem obtained from problem identification including: 1) To describe the development of Live Worksheet-based Student Worksheets in improving reading and writing skills in class VII students of SMP Khadijah 2 Surabaya, 2) To describe the effectiveness of implementing Participant Worksheets Educate based on Live Worksheets in improving reading and writing skills in class VII students of SMP Khadijah 2 Surabaya. This type of research is Research and Development. It uses a qualitative and quantitative approach with the ADDIE research model developed by Dick and Carrey (1996). Using a saturated sampling technique in a population of 50 students from class VII SMP Khadijah 2 Surabaya in the 2022-2023 school year. In collecting data, this study used interviews, tests, documentation and questionnaires obtained from students, teachers and school principals, while in data processing it used reliability, validity, normality test calculations, and paired sample T-test. The results of the research from the development of Student Worksheets based on Live Worksheets are: 1) Analysis, students need interactive Student Worksheets as supporting material for school books using learning media in accordance with learning hours at school. 2) Design, in accordance with the implementation of the independent curriculum in class VII SMP Khadijah in the 2022-2023 academic year by adjusting school books and the needs of class VII students of SMP Khadijah 2 Surabaya for the 2022-2023 academic year. 3) Development, on material experts namely: Content (78% predicate feasible), construction (79% predicate feasible), language (66% predicate feasible). In media experts, namely: writing (81% very feasible), appearance (84.5% very feasible), function (100% very feasible), benefits (95.5% very feasible). 4) Implementation, with 2x trial trials to class VII students of SMP Khadijah and SMP Khadijah 2 Surabaya obtained the results of instrument reliability (0.449 predicate strong enough), pretest (0.660 predicate strong), and posttest instrument reliability (0.601 predicate strong enough). 5) Evaluation, based on a questionnaire of respondents after using the product from students (average 72.88 good) and teachers (average 81.24 very good). The results of the study on the effectiveness of implementing Live Worksheets-based Student Worksheets are: 1) ) Homogeneity test, based on the statement that the value of Sig(0.662) > 0.05 explains that the data collection is from similar data (homogeneous). 2) Normality Test, based on one sample Kolmogrov Smirnov the test has a normal distribution with a sig. 0.012 > 0.05. 3) Paired Sample T-Test, it is known that there is a 0.809 correlation between the pretest and posttest with the sig value. 0.000 <0.05, so it can be concluded that H0 was rejected to accept H1, that is, there was an increase in the reading and writing skills of class VII students of SMP Khadijah 2 Surabaya in implementing Student Worksheets based on Live Worksheets.
