Abstract
Along with the development of technology, assessment can be done online using a website. A website that offers various features for assessment is Liveworksheet. With various features and assessment formats offered, it is important for teachers to know which one is suitable for students' needs. This research aims to find out which assessment format is suitable for students as well as the advantages and disadvantages of Liveworksheet. To answer the issue, this study administered a survey questionnaire to 56 8th grade students at SMPN 3 Gresik using Google form. The questionnaire data was analyzed descriptively using SPSS to determine the mean of agreement of each item. The finding showed that the students need to have retelling for speaking assessment, dictation for listening, describing pictures for writing as well as multiple choice comprehension for reading in Liveworksheet. The researcher also discovered that many students prefer Liveworksheet over paper because of its advantages of being flexible, practical, and having automatic scoring features. However, there are disadvantages of Liveworksheet such as a less wide screen display and the lack of collaboration features. Nevertheless, Liveworksheet is considered as an appropriate assessment tool for students and teachers can use it as needed.
